Hey hey heyyyyyy

So this week was well a week spent inside lol! But hey that's okay God's got a plan!!

Craziest thing that happened this week was TRANSFERS!! Sister Gray went home:( buuuut I got a new companion and shes so cute!! Her name is Sister Winder, she is the cutest. I'm so excited for this transfer!!!

Now to answer the questions... no I'm not completely insane, yes I would rather be outside, yes I am still teaching people (technology rocks), and yes I have things to do! Thank yall so much for reaching out to make sure I'm doing well <3 I loveeeeee you!!

I wanted to share that yes it is hard to be a missionary right now. And my heart aches for all the missionaries that got sent home or had to leave their assigned missions. I am so blessed to get to stay here in Georgia and serve these amazing people! God and Jesus Christ have provided me with so much peace during this crazy crazy time that sometimes I forget that this is supposed to be stressful! I know that they CAN and WILL do the same for yall! They love each of you so so much it's crazy! So if your looking for something to help calm you down turn to God!! With conference coming up I want to invite yall to think about President Nelson's challenge... read Joseph Smith History, ponder about the importance of the Book of Mormon in your life!! Next weekend is going to be amazing!!!

SELF ISOLATION IS BORING!!!!

Hey hey hey 

This is gonna be a short one because this week was TTOOUUGGHH but that's okay! So yes I am in self-isolation currently I can't go and have face to face lessons :( I am very sad about it!! But it's all the Lords plan and if he thinks I can handle this then I can! Things are going crazy here in Georgia everything is closing down!!! People are staying inside 24/7 but I mean so are we so its fine!!

Vennie got baptized this week it was so, so cool!! He is so humble and has such an amazing testimony!!!

I wanted to share what I read in Mosiah with y'all...

Mosiah 23:21&22 - "Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith. 

Nevertheless--whosoever putteth his trust in him that same shall be saved in the last day"

This scripture absolutely BLEW MY MIND like the Lord is testing us, we need to trust him and turn to him!! HE IS THERE FOR YOU! YOU INDIVIDUALLY!!!

DEAR COVID-19...YOU SUCK

Okay so like the entire world is in zombie apocalypse mode!!!!!! CRAAAAAZY! We went to walmart to get some essentials and like I am just confused on why everyone is freaking out about toilet paper, chill guys please don't make me spend 13 dollars on a 12 pack again. It was just our luck this week that we were actually out of toilet paper.... But anyways apparently y'all should get ready for the apocalypse.

Other than that craziness and the fact that we can't go to church (depressing but God's got us), this week was a solid one. We got to go out and meet with people everyday up to Friday. Then Friday and Saturday I had the privilege of being in "self-isolation" aka quarantine. It was soooooo boring. We could still communicate to everyone via technology (which is definitely such a blessing don't get me wrong). BUUUUUUT it's not the same!!!! I missed my friends!! We got to go out yesterday but we can only go to set appointments all finding is now ONLINE! crazyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! All of our friends are killing it by the way they amaze me in different ways everyday!! I absolutely love the physically noticeable joy that the gospel can bring to someone's eyes it's breathtaking!! It is the Light of Christ!!!

I wish I could send y'all some facebook posts but I have no idea how to do that... but please watch President Nelson's message about the scary stuff going on right now, it is so comforting. It is so amazing that we are blessed with a Prophet of God to guide and direct us through the uneasy times!! In John 14:27 it says "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you all so so much! They are not going to leave you alone during this hectic time so turn toward them, pray, study, ask!! HEAR HIM!!! 

The Church also just came out with the #HearHim initiative, so please please respond and tell me how you hear him!!!

SOOO... I GET A CAR (maybe), we won a little scratch off game in the mail, it seems pretty sketchy to me but if I have a car next week now you know why. Prayers would be much appreciated.

CONGRATULATIONS JAKE, He's going to Tahiti for all of those who haven't heard yet woooohoooooo!!!! I'm so excited and a little bit jealous because he can wear chacos on his mission and it's always hot, which is like not fair but it's fine, Georgia is absolutely amazing!!

Anyways, this week was bomb as usual, haven't had a bad one yet! We have a HUUUGGEEE teaching pool so we meet with several people a day and currently have 5 on date for baptism so wowza. 12 people came to church yesterday so that was awesome sauce. Our friend Don gave us really cool umbrellas that have trackers in them so we can always find them. We got to meet with Jasmin TWICE this week so that was a blessing because she usually can't fit us in that much, her baptism is coming up so that's exciting!! We helped a family move on Saturday and I've never met a cooler dude like he has the coolest job ever, so cool that I don't think I'm even allowed to tell you what it is. This week was full of blessings and little miracles even though sometimes it's completely overwhelming (because our scheduling app was down we had tons of double-bookings). The Lord really is the best and his Gospel blows me away every single day! The south is so amazing!!!

Soooooo fun fact, I'm reading through the bible for the first time ever (yes, I know I was supposed to read it in seminary), but it is SOOO COOOL!! I'm not far at all but as I'm reading the thing that jumps out at me the most is faith. Christ does not perform miracles without the faith of the people. With faith, you could LITERALLY move a mountain (if God needed you to), but it really is so powerful and amazing! Faith is the first part of the gospel of Jesus Christ for a reason, it has so much weight and power to it! I challenge all of y'all to practice and build your faith, read the scriptures pray to God, HE ANSWERS PRAYERS! If we have faith, literally anything is possible. If you are struggling with faith, please please read and pray, with sincere intent asking to know and your faith will grow!!!

This week was another goody!!

We taught a couple new people this week and I am loooooving it! Our new friend Chris maybe has a crush on us but it's okay because #pmgchapter14 haha no but fr he is awesome! We also met with Kerra who absolutely blew me out of the water!! Like she is so prepared for the gospel it is crazy, she told us she feels like 2 and 2 is coming together and wow I got so excited because she literally told us if she could ask God one question it would be where are we from? Why are we here? Where are we going? LIKE WHAT POS!!!! It was sooo cool fr fr!

We got to do a bunch of service this week which is one of my favorite things because Christ did it so much I feel like I'm being more like him! We do this thing called emaus table every week where we help a Methodist church feed struggling people it's awesome! And then we did a sister in our ward's yard with most of our district! I loved it! 

Fun fact we are to the point where we cant go finding because we are teaching too many people so stressful but its God's way not mine so no complaints!!

 I know I say that I love it every week but Y'ALL being a missionary is the coolest thing I have ever done in my life. This gospel blows me away every single day! There are tiny little miracles everywhere I look and I learn something new everyday! Also the people are so amazing, yes I've had doors shut in my face, yes I've been rejected but I still love every single person I meet, my heart aches for the people that reject this thing that will only help them, but it's all part of God's plan. Jacob 7:14 towards the end of the verse says: "thy will, O Lord, be done, and not mine" PREACH JACOB!

I am so sorry my emails are always so scattered I have so much I want to tell y'all but I hate writing it out!
